Imagine a situation wherein, you need to connect the following devices externally to the laptop:

1. A REGULAR KEYBOARD, IF YOUR PREFERENCE IS TO TOWARDS A SEPARATE KEYPAD
2. A MOUSE, MUCH COMFORTABLE OPTION THAN THE LAPTOP TOUCHPAD
3. AN EXTERNAL MONITOR, IF YOU WANT A BIGGER DISPLAY THAN YOUR CURRENT LAPTOP SCREEN
4. A PRINTER
5. AN EXTERNAL USB HARD DRIVE
6. SPEAKERS, BECAUSE EXTERNAL SPEAKERS ARE ALWAYS BETTER THAN THE ONE IN-BUILT IN THE LAPTOP

Imagine you have connected all these devices at your home, and now you wish to carry the laptop at work, you again have to go through an entire process with every tedious step:

1. DISCONNECT THE KEYBOARD
2. DISCONNECT THE MOUSE
3. DISCONNECT THE MONITORS
4. DISCONNECT THE PRINTER
5. DISCONNECT THE EXTERNAL DRIVE
6. DISCONNECT THE SPEAKERS

And again, after the day at work is completed you have to get back home and connect all the devices to the laptop.

This task is indeed repetitive and unnecessary.
